A SHOUT OUT!!!

Steve and I just wanted to personally thank every one for coming out to our Open House last night. You made the Grand Opening wonderful and really meant a lot to us that you took time out of your busy lives to come and share this special moment with us!

Please check The BUZZ blog often because things will change often and fast expecially now that we have the Gallery on the other side of the studio!

Tell your friends and family, that we now have a local hang out in the E-GALLERY - for anyone and everyone to come to do crafting projects, have a small party or get together, what ever the occassion - we have the space. Just call me with details.... 319-239-3736

I wanted to post the website of the business and man who provided me with my fabulous custom sign! His name is Paul and his business is in Sunny Southern Califonria. His website is http://www.artsignworks.com/ He made this sign custom. I designed it, and he had his guys sandblast it and create a custom wraught iron sign holder that fit it perfectly. I am so happy with this- Then after many phone conversations, he sent this HUGE sign over night! I was thrilled to receive it the day before my Open House with only 2 weeks to complete the entire project.

THANK YOU PAUL!

Another person who helped this dream become a reality is Reggie Truax and his wife Eve. I photographed their wedding recently...Reggie was key in helping us do all the stuff that Steve and I couldn't do. He is truly talented in his field of custom construction...and to Eve - for letting me borrow her husband lots of nights and weekends! Thats sounds so wrong! BUT its the truth. There were nights when Steve, Reggie and I were over at the studio working until 11:30 at night several nights in a row!

Then there was Justin Piggott with "Just in Time". I called him Wednesday afternoon and told him that my sign was here and would he mind digging a hole for the pole that I had to go get at Menards - He dug that hole and then poured concrete and set the pole for me! YEAH for me! I was now officially a business! YIPPEEE Justin also works for RE/MAX Cedar Valley and is truly a really hard worker!

Last but not least ...to my wonderful husband and partner! You have really been my driving force behind getting this project complete. Even though you would walk through Menards telling me you were so tired of this, you always came back, rolled your sleeves and worked hard-beside me...you are so AWESOME!
