This is the mosiac that I made. It is in the entry and I feel like it carries on the random flagstone pattern from outside the door.

The finished 2nd mosiac. That is black granite and random tile peices...

Here is the entry with the finished wood floor...

and the finished product.

the beginning set up for the Open house.

;-) It came out beautiful I think -

Some custom backgrounds that NO ONE in this area will ever have! How do I know this? because I either painted and created them!

Rusted tin tiles that I found on the side of the road...ok I have been known to go dumpster diving...I loved the textures and when I told Steve I NEEDED those tiles, all he could see was trash..I saw a new custom background that NO ONE will ever have but me ;-)

I painted this - it is a little darker red than it shows on here..

and if you look further into my blog, and look at Alli Hora's senior portraits you can see these in use!

This is the front room...notice the yellow carpet glue all over this floor. Steve and I pondered what to do with this floor for a LONG time before I just broke down and bought wood flooring...I wanted to stain the concrete under all that glue...but that would have meant that we would have to rent a diamond blade sander and then put 3 coats of chemicals to disolves the glue, then the stain odors I llike to breathe....SO wood flooring is MUCH less complicated!

BUT before it gets better it just got worse!

Its getting there!

almost done!

Ahhhh finally, a beautiful location to shoot in..

my VERY cramped camera room area. This is now the ART GALLERY! you will have to stay posted to see some images of this space grow!

the other side of the sstudio...

the debris from the other section of the NEW studio...

My daughter Katie pondering the mess that we made...will this ever get better?

ahhh, but of course!

The the beginning of the landscaping...

an upclose shot of the beautiful tri colored flagstone..reds, blues, purples and even green rocks!

my very cramped office in the other part of the building as we were working on the rest of the studio space...- YUCK

its coming along...

Heres the floor plan. The building in front is a rental property that came along with my new studio property...It's great! We have two nice guys who live there who are graduate students.

Kindermusik is now located at UNI in the music department. Kindermusik is a music program for young children 3 months to 4 or 5 years.

This will eventually be my new camera room...

flagstone just about done...
