ARIZONA 2009

indian pottery shards
pottery shards still in the ground...they had just been discovered!

This is probably where some indians had made a stove

some shards of pottery

We went to some old indian ruins that were so cool. I am guessing that this was a corn meal masher.
My mother in law does agility training with her dog Annie.

This is my Katie. I am pretty sure this is the first tree she has ever climbed. It is an evergreen and if you look at the bark, you can see that it looks like alligator skin!

Annie retreiving a ball...

So the family and I took this wonderful trip to Arizona last week. We stayed with Steve's Mom - we went horse backriding and played in the pool. I thought I would share a few images - i havent edited all of them yet...I will soon though. I was particularlyl interested in photographing landscapes because everything from the plants to the sky is different than Iowa....I will be throwing in some random images of our family too! enjoy! and leave some LOVE if you want!
