I love it when dogs smile at me. I am not sure what he is thinking, but I am pretty sure that he is thinking "what the heck lady...why do you keep making all those dumb sounds. I am NOT a cat, so please quit meowing!"
ok, so I am a crazy lady too, because all animals - in my mind anyway, have a British accent! HAHA
So when I go to the fridge and my dogs are right there next to me, trying to nose in to the action inside the fridge, I can imagine them saying to me " Please mum, can you just spare a bite, for a poor hungry mongril like myself?"...always make me laugh..hehehe

A boy and his dog!
I have photographed Zander and his brother Zack several times in the past couple of years, but I think this might have been the most heart warming session with these children. This time, I just photographed Zander because his dog has cancer. This a dog that has been with them since the boys were babies and Zander loves his dog! We wanted to capture the sweetness and relationship with a Boy and his dog before the dog passes - Memories...whay not capture them on film?Tuesday, June 23, 2009
ARIZONA 2009
indian pottery shards
pottery shards still in the ground...they had just been discovered!
This is probably where some indians had made a stove
some shards of pottery
We went to some old indian ruins that were so cool. I am guessing that this was a corn meal masher.
My mother in law does agility training with her dog Annie.
This is my Katie. I am pretty sure this is the first tree she has ever climbed. It is an evergreen and if you look at the bark, you can see that it looks like alligator skin!
Annie retreiving a ball...So the family and I took this wonderful trip to Arizona last week. We stayed with Steve's Mom - we went horse backriding and played in the pool. I thought I would share a few images - i havent edited all of them yet...I will soon though. I was particularlyl interested in photographing landscapes because everything from the plants to the sky is different than Iowa....I will be throwing in some random images of our family too! enjoy! and leave some LOVE if you want!
